John Whaite, Chef, Food Writer and TV personality, will make his debut at Clumber Park’s Festival of Food and Drink, held on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th September 2016.

John also now runs his own cookery school, John Whaite’s Kitchen, set in the heart of rural Lancashire, and will be bringing some of those lessons as well as delicious recipes to the Festival’s Cookery Theatre with demonstrations throughout the day.

There will also be the opportunity to purchase one of John’s successful recipe books such as John Whaite Bakes: Recipes for Every Day and Every Mood and John Whaite Bakes At Home, for signing and to ask him culinary questions in a lively Q&A sessions.

Festival organizer Bev Channell said: “We are delighted to have John join us for this year’s Festival. Each year we look to invite innovative chefs who can engage and inspire amateur chefs, bakers and food enthusiasts from around the region. John is the perfect addition to an exciting line-up of culinary favourites.”

Visitors who purchase a VIP ticket will also have the added benefit of attending an exclusive ‘meet and greet’ with John, and a goody bag of tempting samples to try when you get home. VIP tickets start from just £15 and must be booked in advance.

Clumber Park’s Festival of Food and Drink brings together delicious food and drink producers, artisan specialists and food experts, with over 150 of the region’s best brands all under one roof in the Food and Drink Marquee.

For those who have more traditional tastes, how about afternoon tea in the Yorkshire Sweet Café or some retail therapy in the Beautiful Things gift and homewares marquee?

With plenty of sumptuous food and drink to try and buy, it's a feast for the senses and a great day out for all the family.
