The School of Artisan Food

Our friends from The School of Artisan Food will join us once again at Clumber Park with a programme of classes for both adults and children. Adult classes are bookable in advance whereas the children’s classes are booked on the day.

 

The School is a world-class, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to teaching skills in artisan food production and was awarded the highly regarded title of Cookery School of the Year in 2014. Located on the beautiful Welbeck Estate in North Nottinghamshire in the heart of Sherwood Forest, the School offers fully equipped, spacious training facilities, providing the ideal environment to learn, develop and master artisan skills.

 

A wide range of practical, hands-on courses cater for all skill levels from complete beginners through to award-winning professionals in bakery and patisserie, butchery, curing and smoking, cheesemaking, brewing, chocolate and ice-cream making, pickling and preserving.

 

Spend a couple of hours on a tasting session or learn a new artisan skill in a day. Expert tutors from the School will be on hand to show you how to make your own ice cream, bake artisan bread and pizzas, make sausages and delve into the world of chocolate and more.
