The School of Artisan Food

Our friends from The School of Artisan Food will join us once again at Clumber Park with a programme of classes for both adults and children. Adult classes are bookable in advance and on the day, however we do recommend booking before the event to avoid disappointment. The children’s classes can be booked on the day.

Located on the beautiful Welbeck Estate in North Nottinghamshire, the School is a world-class, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to teaching skills in artisan food production. The School offers fully equipped, spacious training facilities, providing the ideal environment to learn, develop and master artisan food skills.

A wide range of practical, hands-on short courses cater for all skill levels from complete beginners through to industry professionals in subjects such as bakery and patisserie, butchery, curing and smoking, cheesemaking, brewing, chocolate and ice-cream making, foraging and pickling and preserving.

Spend a couple of hours on a tasting session or learn a new artisan skill in a day. For those wishing to progress their skills, there are intensive three-week courses and a full-time 10 month Advanced Diploma in Baking for those seeking a career as an artisan baker.

Children's lessons will be available to book on the day, please note that each lesson has limited spaces so we recommend you book your childrens classes on arrival at the event.
